  1. I am a big fan of these abstract images. I like the mystery of the shadow in the first picture. It holds my complete attention while I try and guess what it is.

    The second image is not only a contrast in texture (the grass vs. the snow) but it is like a map of the continents moon some foreign planet.

    Your third image is a relaxing play between the entwined branches of a tree.

  2. I experienced reactions similar to the ones you described even as I was composing in the viewfinder. In the second photo, the grass at the far left looks like a backwards Italy. And I do find the third image relaxing. Words fail me with regard to the first image. I have only recently realized how much fun shadows give our senses. As always, I am deeply grateful for any attention you give to my posts.
